Hi everyone, the Queen of Sparkle here!
So as you know I’ve popped off (as you do) to sunny Cape Town. I arrived all safe and sound – it was a long haul; but this is only the first leg of my “Big African Adventure” so more travelling to get used to.
So having arrived and settled in, it was straight off to Cape Point, the most south-westerly tip of the African continent. This is where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. An amazing and invigorating walk to the top, but alas not one Starbucks in sight!
We had an awesome family dinner that evening – just amazing, the restaurant was right on the beach front. Such and experience. I really feel like I’ve arrived now and of course just so I don’t get too homesick I’m decked out in my TJC goodies.
On Wednesday we went off to the famous Table Mountain. Did you know that it’s one of the official New7Wonders of Nature? You can take a cable car to get to the top, or if you like a challenge you can walk up. Guess which way we went up? The views from the top were amazing and definitely a 5 Star attraction that I would recommend to everyone.
We’ve done so much here in Cape Town, and I’m a bit sad to leave, but it’s been wonderful and a magnificent experience. Apart from Table Mountain, the beach, all the fabulous seafood and local markets we went to Boulders Beach, a popular tourist stop because of a colony of African Penguins.
So tomorrow is the big day – an African wedding. I really can’t wait to get all dolled up and get my “Sparkle”on. You know me, I can’t resist a bit of sparkle.
Right my lovelies, I must run but there’ll be more photos to follow to make sure you come back for the next installment.
