Sweet powdery pastels are going to big this spring/summer and they’re not just for garden parties and picnics outings either. Yes we know that here in the UK we’re still in the fighting the cold, but what better way to add a refreshing twist to your winter wardrobe than with a pastel pop.
The pastel trend for spring/summer 2014 has already proven to be popular on the red carpet – the place for all things fashionable! We’ve just had the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards and most recently the Grammys and pastel featured on a number of A-Listers.
At the Golden Globes, Sofia Vergara from Modern Family fame wore the most stunning baby blue floral Lorraine Schwartz necklace that totally made her black gown pop. At the Grammys this last weekend, country singer Kacey Musgraves looked as pretty as a princess in a floaty and frilly pastel Armani Privé gown. Cate Blanchett rocked a rosy palette at the 2014 SAGs in a pale pink Givenchy gown.
So you know if there Hollywood leading ladies are taking the new trend on board, it’s a winner and you should too.
